Music makes the people come together
<<2003-03-23 - 6:46 p.m.>>

So I'm sitting here in the dark, craving a bottle of the Smirnoff Ice I have upstairs and digesting the pasta that, I am proud to say, I made al by myself. Well, with my mother telling me what to do. So I was half right.

I'm listening to InMe and Muse and Blink 182 over and over, thank you Sy, and at some point tonight I shall stick them onto CDs for myself.

I went into town with my mother today since I think if we'd stayed in the house and continued to bitch at each other neither of us would have survived the day. I got a couple of stuff and some Aniseed Balls (yay I love those) and we watched a LOT of War TV. It's like a movie, I swear. For those who are interested, I'm am neither anti nor pro war. I just wish they'd get it over and done with. I'm sick of weenie little protesters. Some kids at a school near us were throwing bricks at cars who drove past their "Honk to stop the war" signs without honking. Pft. Can you say "sheep"?

The parents are going to Amsterdam on the first weekend in May with some friends to celebrate theie friend Tony's 50th birthday. Tony happens to be the father of my ex boyfriend. Long distance ex, that is. They live near Durham which is odd... I'll be nearer to them than I will to my own parents and my boyfriend and my best friend.

It's still sunny. And I'm still a little fed up but it will pass. It has to do sometime, right?
